Bruce A. Porter, M.D., FACR
Dr. Porter is the medical director of First Hill Diagnostic Imaging, the first MRI facility in the Pacific Northwest, established in 1984. He has published more than 30 scientific papers, particularly focusing on advanced clinical applications of MRI. He is an author of 7 book chapters, multiple scientific exhibits, and has presented more than 140 lectures at scientific meetings.
Dr. Porter is a clinical associate professor at the University of Washington, an affiliate investigator at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and on the active staff of Swedish Hospital, Seattle.
Locally, he has been a trusted advisor to numerous third-party payors in the Pacific Northwest on MRI indications and reimbursement policy since 1984. He is a clinical consultant to several major MR and ultrasound manufacturers for hardware, software, and advanced clinical applications.
